About the Author
Samm Haillay has twelve feature credits as producer, six fictions and six documentaries, to his name. These multiple award winners include co-productions with Sweden, Germany, Italy and Australia. All received 'red carpet' premieres (Cannes, Venice, Toronto and Sundance etc). He has also produced touring gallery installations, with shows spanning three continents and numerous award winning short films and advertising works. He is a member of BAFTA, ACE and EAVE as well as a group leader for the Venice College, Feature Expanded, Film London, Locarno Open Doors. He was head of Studies for Attagirl - the worlds first development lab for female, trans and non-binary led projects. Samm is also a film academic leading courses at MetFilm School and actively researching story structure within film & TV - he offers industrial mentorship in this field. His other research project is a longitudinal study into disabled representation in the film industry - The Crip Count.
